Things appear to have largely stalemated in North America since we last dropped in. Despite the fact that the Sioux have lost Wahkepute to the remotely competent Mexican army, the loss shouldn’t prove to be too much of a dent. The mountain range to the immediate east allows for a very narrow funnel for enemy troops, one that could easily be blocked, and compared to the rest of Sitting Bull’s cities, he could have fared a lot worse. The Blackfoot invasion to the north appears to have been largely rebuffed.

For now.
